Remains of the Lemuria Shrine: Great Harmony #6 NL

Remains of the Lemuria Shrine

This artwork envisions the submerged ruins of an ancient shrine from the mythical continent of Lemuria, which is said to have sunk beneath the ocean long ago. The soft, flowing blues and greens in the piece evoke the mysterious underwater world, where remnants of a once-thriving spiritual civilization remain hidden. The towering columns and fragments of the shrine, barely visible beneath the layers of water and time, suggest that Lemuria's wisdom and culture endure in secret, waiting for the right moment to resurface.

According to legend, Lemuria was a land of great spiritual harmony, where its people lived in tune with nature and higher consciousness. Some believe that when the world is ready for a spiritual awakening, this lost civilization will rise again. In this work, I imagine the shrine resting safely beneath the waves, patiently waiting for the renewal of a spiritual civilization that once defined Lemuria.

The snow-like particles that cascade across the image represent the passage of time and the ethereal quality of the myths surrounding Lemuria. The subtle shifts in color and light mirror the delicate balance between the past and the present, creating an atmosphere of tranquility and mystery. Through this piece, I invite viewers to contemplate the resilience of ancient wisdom and the possibility of rediscovery in a future of spiritual growth.
